SARASOTA, Fla. - NCF Men's Tennis checked in at No. 25 in the latest NAIA Top 25 poll, joining the rankings for the first time in program history and joining Beach Volleyball as just the second program in New College Athletics history to be ranked in an NAIA Poll.
The Mighty Banyans are 6-6 on the season thus far and 3-2 in Sun Conference play.
It owns notable victories over then-ranked No. 15 Oakland City, No. 21 St. Thomas and RV Ave Maria.
As a team, NCF is 34-28 in singles matches this season, with
Pedro Lemos holding a team-best 8-4 record, and is 14-17 in doubles matches, with
Timothy Phung and
Carlos Quinones a team-best 5-2 paired up together.
The Mighty Banyans have three regular-season matches remaining, including home matches this weekend against conference foes No. 22 SCAD Savannah and No. 15 Coastal Georgia.
