SARASOTA, Fla. - New College of Florida Women's Soccer has been named a 2025-26 College Team Academic Award winner by United Soccer Coaches, recognizing the Mighty Banyans' success in the classroom during the past academic year.

New College earned the honor after posting a 3.68 team grade point average during the 2025-26 academic year.

The United Soccer Coaches College Team Academic Award recognizes programs that demonstrate exemplary performance in the classroom. To qualify for the award, a team must post a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or higher for the academic year.

The academic recognition comes as the Mighty Banyans prepare to begin the 2026 season. New College will kick off regular-season play on Thursday, August 20, when it hosts Florida Polytechnic University.
