SARASOTA, Fla. - New College of Florida women's soccer senior forward Naomi Woerner has been named The Sun Conference Offensive Player of the Week for the second consecutive week, the conference announced Monday.

Woerner continued her record-setting start to the 2026 season with five goals and three assists across three matches against Florida National, Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College and Wesleyan College.

The sophomore opened the stretch by scoring NCF's first goal in its victory over Florida National on Aug. 25. She followed with two goals against Abraham Baldwin on Saturday before delivering her biggest performance of the week Sunday at Wesleyan.

Woerner recorded two goals and three assists against Wesleyan, accounting for seven points. Her three assists established a new NCF single-game program record.

Across the three matches, Woerner totaled 13 points on five goals and three assists while recording 16 shots, including nine on goal.

The award marks Woerner's second consecutive Sun Conference Offensive Player of the Week honor after she also earned the recognition following NCF's season-opening victory over Florida Polytechnic. Woerner recorded a hat trick in the opener, becoming the program's all-time leader in career goals in the process.

Through four matches this season, Woerner has already scored eight goals, tying Hernandez Cruz's 2024 program record for goals in a single season.

Woerner currently leads The Sun Conference with eight goals, 13 shots on goal and three assists, while her 23 total shots rank fourth in the conference. She has recorded 19 points through four matches, averaging 4.75 points per match.

Her eight goals have come on just 23 shots, and she has scored at least once in each of NCF's first four matches of the season.

Woerner's start has helped lead the Mighty Banyans to a perfect 4-0 start to the 2026 campaign.

NCF returns to action Saturday, Sept. 5, when the Mighty Banyans travel to Thomasville, Georgia, to take on Thomas University at 4 p.m.
