SARASOTA, Fla. - New College softball practices are underway for the 2023-24 season.

The Mighty Banyans softball team did not take long to bring high energy and connectedness to their practices and scrimmages. There is a noticeable excitement coming from the softball team as they begin preparations for their first season in program history. Coach Aly Bermudez has brought in a group of players with experience; around half of the team has already played at the college level. This experience will be important as they look to compete in this first season.

The Banyans have a full schedule of fall games to help them grow as a team in preparation for their inaugural season.
