NCF Volleyball will look to move to 2-0 on the season Sunday when it meets Park Gilbert (AZ) for a 2 p.m. EST match at Florida College in Temple Terrace.

While the game will be played at Florida College, NCF will serve as the home team for Sunday's contest.

• NCF defeated Loyola New Orleans 3-1 at home in its season opener Thursday at SCF-Bradenton. The Mighty Banyans won the first set 25-20, lost the second set 25-15 and then rallied to win the third set 25-17 and fourth set 25-22 to earn the victory.
• Senior Jayleen Santiago logged a team-high 17 kills in the victory over Loyola. Junior Wiktoria Telecka led the team in points as she recorded 13 kills and an impressive team-high eight service aces.
• Senior setter Rafaela Domingos, a 2024 first-team All-Sun Conference selection, led NCF with 38 assists against Loyola.
• Senior libero Maria Luiza Barreis logged a team-high 14 digs while junior Soraya Nacero (13) and Domingos (13) also finished the season-opener with more than 10 digs.
• Telecka and junior Abigail Willis each recorded 3.0 blocks in the victory over Loyola. 
• Park Gilbert, coached by Pisila Tukia, is 3-6 so far this season.
• The Bucaneers went 1-3 in the  Florida College Labor Day Tournament Friday and Saturday, falling to Warner (3-0), St. Thomas (3-0), Loyola New Orleans (3-0) and beating host Florida College (3-2).
