NCF Baseball (11-5) will make its first road trip of the season when it heads to Davenport to participate in the RussMatt Tournament Friday and Saturday.
The Mighty Banyans will take on Cornerstone University at 12:30 Saturday and then take on Waldorf University Sunday at 7:45 p.m.

- The Mighty Banyans took two out of three from Bethel University last weekend to improve to 11-5 on the year, the best start to a season in program history.
- Ryan Swartz earned his second Sun Conference Pitcher Of The Week Award of the season Monday as he  tossed 6.0 innings of scoreless ball in an 8-0 series opening win over Bethel Friday. He struck out 10 Pilots, walked just one, hit a batter and allowed just one hit (an infield single). The win moved Swartz, a Sarasota native, to 3-0 on the season and lowered his ERA to 2.05.
- Through 16 games, Fernando Espinal is hitting a team-best .400 among qualified hitters for the Mighty Banyans. He leads the team with four triples, one home run and ranks second on the team in RBIs with 11, only behind Andrew Merchant (14).
- Waldorf enters play 4-8 on the season and will play Grand View at 2:15 p.m. Friday before taking on the Mighty Banyans, while Cornerstone will play two against Fort Lauderdale Friday to open its 2026 season before taking on NCF.
