WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. - NCF Women's Lacrosse (5-10, 1-5) will play its first-ever postseason game at 3 p.m. Thursday when it takes on No. 6 Ave Maria in the Sun Conference Tournament Semifinals on the campus of Keiser University in West Palm Beach.
The Mighty Banyans are the tournament's No. 6 seed while Ave Maria is seeded No. 3. With a loss, NCF will be eliminated, and with a win, it would advance to the semifinals to take on No. 2 seeded Keiser.

OF NOTE
- NCF earned the final spot in the Sun Conference Tournament by defeating Warner 16-12 last Thursday in its final home game of the season. The win was NCF's first Sun Conference victory in program history.
- In its regular season matchup with Ave Maria last Saturday, NCF fell 19-6 on the road. Makayla Hardware scored three goals in the loss, Ashley Palmer scored twice and Hannah Picott scored once.
- Hardware earned second-team All-Sun Conference honors Wednesday. She enters postseason play having scored a single-season program record 38 goals for the Mighty Banyans this season while also setting a single-season program record with 53 points, 53 draw controls and 15 assists.
- NCF is led in ground balls by Bella Bradshaw with 46. Sara-Lee Brown leads NCF with 13 caused turnovers, while Abbigail Hardaker has made 118 saves in net.
