SARASOTA, Fla. – The New College of Florida women's soccer team and head coach Serge Lipovetsky have announced the program's 2026 schedule as the Mighty Banyans prepare for their fourth season in program history and second under Lipovetsky.
New College will play 16 regular season matches, including seven home contests at NCF Bayfront Field, while continuing its pursuit of the program's first Sun Conference Tournament appearance.
The Mighty Banyans will first take the field in an exhibition at Eckerd College on Aug. 16 before officially opening the regular season at home on Aug. 20 against Florida Polytechnic University. The matchup marks the first meeting between the two programs as Florida Polytechnic begins its inaugural season of intercollegiate athletics and NAIA competition. The teams will complete a home-and-home series when New College travels to Lakeland on Oct. 7.
Following another home contest against Florida National University on Aug. 25, New College will head to Georgia for a pair of matches on Aug. 29-30. The Mighty Banyans will face Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College in Tifton before traveling to Macon to take on Wesleyan College, which begins its first season as an NAIA member after transitioning from NCAA Division III.
New College returns home on Sept. 11 to host Florida College at 1 p.m. as part of an NCF Soccer Doubleheader at Bayfront Field. The Mighty Banyan women will kick off the day before the New College men's soccer team hosts Florida College at 4 p.m.
After a road match at Trinity College of Jacksonville, New College opens Sun Conference play on Sept. 26 at Warner University before visiting defending NAIA National Champion and preseason No. 1 Keiser University on Sept. 30.
Conference play continues at home on Oct. 3 against Webber International.
One of the marquee home matches of the season comes on Oct. 10 when New College welcomes 2024 NAIA National Champion SCAD Savannah to Sarasota. The two teams battled to a 1-1 draw in Savannah during the 2025 season.
The home conference slate also features defending Sun Conference regular season and tournament champion Southeastern University, ranked No. 17 in the postseason poll, on Oct. 17. New College will celebrate Senior Day on Oct. 21 against Florida Memorial University before closing the regular season on Oct. 28 at Ave Maria University.
The Mighty Banyans will look to continue building on the progress made under Lipovetsky while seeking the program's first berth in the Sun Conference Tournament.
