SARASOTA, Fla. - Fifteen New College of Florida softball student-athletes have been named 2026 Easton/NFCA All-America Scholar-Athletes, the National Fastpitch Coaches Association announced.
Avery Arrington, Tristan Buchanan, Kayleigh Eikeland, Madison Garcia, Madeleine Gilbert, Kira McDonough, Olivia Pilla, Jamie Reinhardt, Alina Ries, Isabella Ries, Jeyleen Rojas, Ashlynn Sentner, Madison Stewart, Whitney Tannehill and Arianna Thomason each earned the national academic recognition.
To qualify as an Easton/NFCA All-America Scholar-Athlete, student-athletes must post a grade-point average of 3.5 or higher for the 2025-26 academic year.
The honors recognize the academic accomplishments of softball student-athletes across the NFCA's membership categories. A total of 655 NAIA student-athletes earned Scholar-Athlete recognition for the 2025-26 academic year.
New College's 15 selections continue a strong year for the Mighty Banyans softball program both on the field and in the classroom. The Mighty Banyans set a program record with 32 wins during the 2026 season.
