SARASOTA, Fla. - New College of Florida Men's Soccer returns to NCF Bayfront Field Saturday as the Mighty Banyans host Florida Polytechnic University (3-3-0) at 1 p.m.
NCF (1-3-1, 0-0) returns home following a 4-1 loss at Florida National on Wednesday in Hialeah. Angel Frias scored his first goal of the season, while goalkeeper Emmanuel Beltran recorded seven saves.
Saturday's match was originally scheduled to be the second of two meetings between the programs this season. The Aug. 26 match in Lakeland was postponed due to weather, and no makeup date has been announced.

BACK AT BAYFRONT: NCF returns home after playing four of its first five matches away from Bayfront Field. The Mighty Banyans earned a 5-0 victory over Florida College in their lone home match of the season.
COMING OFF A ROAD TEST: NCF attempted 15 shots and placed five on goal Wednesday at Florida National. The Mighty Banyans recorded eight shots during the second half, with Frias scoring in the 58th minute.
FRIAS FINDS THE NET: Frias scored his first goal as a Mighty Banyan against Florida National. His second-half strike cut the deficit to 3-1 and made him the fifth NCF player to score this season.
JOHNSON LEADS THE ATTACK: Cameron Johnson enters Saturday with a team-high five goals and one assist for 11 points. Johnson was named The Sun Conference Offensive Player of the Week on Monday after scoring twice against RV Dalton State and twice against Florida College.
JEANNESTIN AMONG THE LEADERS: Ducamel Jeannestin has scored four goals this season, including two in NCF's victory over Florida College. The junior has combined with Johnson to score nine of the Mighty Banyans' 12 goals.
BELTRAN BETWEEN THE POSTS: Beltran recorded seven saves against Florida National after making four saves during NCF's shutout victory over Florida College. He has started each of the Mighty Banyans' last three matches.
INAUGURAL OPPONENT: Florida Poly is competing in its first season of intercollegiate men's soccer. The Phoenix enter Saturday with a 3-3 record through the first six matches in program history.
