NCF Women's Soccer Earns Team Ethics and Sportsmanship Honor Award From United Soccer Coaches

SARASOTA, Fla. - NCF Women's Soccer has been named one of 45 men's and women's programs nationwide across NCAA, NAIA, USCAA and NJCAA levels to earn the 2025 United Soccer Coaches Team Ethics and Sportsmanship Award.

The honor his presented to teams that exhibit fair play, sporting behavior and adherence to the laws of the game.

The Team Ethics and Sportsmanship Award has four levels: Platinum, Gold, Silver, and Bronze. Each level is determined by the number of yellow and red cards received throughout the season, divided by the number of games played.

The Mighty Banyans qualified for the Bronze Award, presented to teams that accumulate a percentage of cards ranging from 31-50%.

NCF, led by first-year head coach Serge Lipovetsky, finished the season with just eight cards, all of which were yellow's meaning the Mighty Banyans finished the season with a percentage of 50%.

The Mighty Banyans were one of just four NAIA programs to earn the honor, joining the Belhaven University, Evangel University and Waynesburg University women's teams.
