SARASOTA, Fla. - NCF Softball (6-0, 0-0) will look to continue its hot start to the 2026 season Thursday when it visits Florida National (1-3, 0-0) for a doubleheader beginning at Noon EST.
Florida National will make a return trip to Sarasota to take on the Mighty Banyans next Tuesday.

- NCF swept a doubleheader from Fort Lauderdale at home Monday, winning Game 1 10-0 in five innings and winning Game 2 6-3.
- Freshman Dani Ebert tossed a 5.0-inning no-hitter in NCF's Game 1 win over the Eagles. In game 2, Sydney Rich tossed 4.0 innings of three-run ball to earn the win, while Kendall Rubel earned the save by pitching two scoreless frames to finish off the win.
- Samathana Suarez hit a three-run home run in Game 1 of the doubleheader, while Mackenzie Mathers hit a grand slam as both hit their second home runs of the season. In Game 2, catcher Madison Garcia launched her first home run of the season.
- Florida National enters play 1-3 on the season as it was swept in a doubleheader by No. 18 St. Thomas and split a doubleheader with Webber.
