SARASOTA, Fla. - NCF Softball (7-1, 0-0) will be back home Tuesday to host Florida National (2-6, 0-0) for a doubleheader beginning at 1 p.m. EST.
NCF and FNU met last Thursday in Weston for a doubleheader that saw the two teams split, with the Conquistadors winning Game 1 3-2 and the Mighty Banyans taking Game 2 7-0.

OF NOTE
- Down 2-1 in Game 1 of its doubleheader at FNU last week, NCF was able to tie the game as in the top of the sixth, Rylie Harwood worked a walk, stole second, and then came around to score on an error by the FNU catcher. FNU, however, struck back with a run in the bottom of the sixth and then was able to hold down the Mighty Banyans in the top of the seventh to hand NCF its first loss of the 2026 season.
- Game 2 saw Sydney Rich have a big day at the plate for the Mighty Banyans, slugging her first home run of the season and smacking a two-run single. In the circle, Isabella Yazzetti, who was dominant in the circle as she struck out six , only allowed one hit and one walk in a complete-game shutout.
- Freshman pitcher Dani Ebert is coming off a tremendous week as she threw a 5.0 inning no-hitter in a 10-0 win over Fort Lauderdale last Monday and then tossed 3.1 innings of two-run ball in Game 1 against FNU.
- At 7-1, NCF is off to its best start in school history.
