SARASOTA, Fla. - After sweeping the Baptist University of Florida in its opening series over the weekend to start the season 4-0, NCF Softball will return to action Monday when it hosts Fort Lauderdale (0-3) for a 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. EST doubleheader at home.
The two-game set will finish off a six-game homestand to open the 2026 season.

- NCF's four-game sweep of Baptist University of Florida at home over the weekend saw NCF sweep a Friday doubleheader with a pair of 10-2 victories and take both games Saturday, winning Game 3 of the series 14-5 and Game 4 7-1.
- Mackenzie Mathers, Maya Moro and Samantha Suarez all hit home runs in the series sweep of the Eagles. Kelsey Harper, who started all four games at shortstop, hit a team-best .667 with six hits, including a double and picked up a team-high five RBIs.
- In the circle, Sydney Rich, Dani Ebert, Isabella Yazzetti and Tristian Buchanan all earned victories with Rich tossing a team-high 8.0 innings in which she struck out 11 and posted a 1.75 ERA as she tossed 6.0 scoreless innings in NCF's Game 4 victory.
- Fort Lauderdale enters play 0-3 on the season with two losses to Warner and one to Ave Maria.
