2NCF Softball (26-12, 11-7) will take a brief break from conference play to visit non-conference foe Fort Lauderdale (10-22, 0-0) for a doubleheader at 12 and 2 p.m. EST Tuesday at the Sunrise Sports Complex in Sunrise, Florida.
It will be the second meeting between the Mighty Banyans and Eagles this season as NCF swept a doubleheader from Fort Lauderdale Feb. 9 at home, winning 10-0 and 6-3.

OF NOTE
- NCF earned a series sweep of Florida Memorial over the weekend, winning Game 1 13-2, Game 2 6-1 and Game 3 10-2. The Mighty Banyans are now 26-12 overall on the year and 11-7 in Sun Conference play.
- Rylie Harwood went 5-for-8 with a home run and six RBI's in the series victory to lead the NCF offense, while Isabella Yazzetti was the winning pitcher in Games 1 and 3.
- Arianna Thomason  hit her first career home run as a Mighty Banyan with an inside-the-park homer on her Senior Day Saturday.
- In its Feb. 9 doubleheader agaisnt Fort Lauderdale, Â The Mighty Banyans came out swinging in Game 1 as Samatha Suarez hit a three-run home run in the bottom of the first to give NCF a quick 3-0 lead.
NCF then added five in the bottom of the second, highlighted by a grand slam off the bat of Mackenzie Mathers. The Mighty Banyans added one in the bottom of the third and another in the bottom of the fourth, which was more than enough for starting pitcher Dani Ebert, who threw a 5.0 inning no-hitter that saw her issue just one walk and strike out two Eagles. Then in Game 2, after falling behind 3-0 after two and a half innings of play, NCF rallied to tie the game in the bottom of the third as Madison Garcia launched a solo home run and Sydney Rich hit a two-run single. Rich, who also earned the win on the mound, tossing 4.0 innings of three-run ball, then helped herself out again, smacking a go-ahead RBI double in the bottom of the fifth. Later in the inning, Jill Halas lined a two-run double to give NCF two important insurance runs. With a three-run lead in hand, Kendall Rubel entered in relief and pitched 2.0 scoreless innings of relief to record the save.
