OF NOTE
- NCF goes into the weekend still with a chance to make the Sun Conference Tournament. At 7-17, NC sits a game behind Florida Memorial and two games back of Ave Maria, with four games remaining. Because both Florida Memorial and Ave Maria own the head-to-head tiebreaker, the Banyans must finish with a better conference record than each team to move ahead in the standings. For NCF to pass both teams, the path is narrow. The Mighty Banyans must go at least 3-1 at Southeastern while getting help, needing Florida Memorial to finish 1-3 or worse and Ave Maria to go  0-4. A 4-0 finish would also give NCF a chance, but would still require Florida Memorial to go 2-2 or worse and Ave Maria to finish 1-3 or worse. Any result of 2-2 or worse would eliminate New College from postseason contention.
- Last weekend, NCF lost three out of four to Warner, dropping Game 1 24-5, Game 2 14-8, Game 3 7-5 and winning Game 4 12-11 in 10 innings.
- New College of Florida closed the 2026 home season in dramatic fashion in the series finale against Warner at IMG. Trailing 8-2 entering the bottom of the seventh, the Banyans erupted for seven runs to take a 9-8 lead. The inning featured RBI efforts from Fernando Espinal and Matthew Merk, a bases-loaded walk drawn by Brecken Fair, a hit-by-pitch RBI from Rylan Jomisko and a two-run single from Patrick  Fink. Warner answered with two runs in the eighth and added another in the ninth to reclaim an 11-9 lead, but New College refused to fold. In the bottom of the ninth, Jomisko delivered the biggest swing of the day, launching a two-run home run to tie the game at 11-11 and force extra innings. In the 10th, Michael Magliocca reached and moved into scoring position before Ryan Burgoon delivered the walk-off RBI single to seal the victory in the final home game of the season.
- NCF enters the final weekend of the season with a team batting average of .301, which ranks fourth-best in the Sun Conference only behind Webber, Southeastern and St. Thomas.
