CLEARWATER, Fla. - NCF Softball (32-14, 15-9) will begin its 2026 Sun Conference Tournament journey at Clearwater's Eddie C. Moore Complex as the No. 4-seeded Mighty Banynas will take on No. 5-seeded St. Thomas in its first round game of the double-elimination tournament at 11 a .m. Thursday.
With a win, NCF will take on top-seeded Southeastern at 4 p.m. Thursday. With a loss, NCF would face the loser of a Thursday contest between No. 2 Keiser and either No. 3 Coastal Georgia or No. 6 seeded Warner at 11:30 a.m. Friday.

- NCF and St. Thomas played its regular season series last weekend in Sarasota and the Mighty Banyans were able to take two out of three games, winning Game 1 7-4 behind a two-home run day from Madison Garcia, falling 12-1 in Game 2, but then bouncing back to win Game 3 behind a complete-game shutout by Isabella Yazetti.
- The Mighty Banyans 32 regular season wins, 15 Sun Conference victories and fourth-place finish in the Sun Conference standings are all program-bests.
- Entering postseason play, NCF ranks 10th in the NAIA with 136 stolen bases, second in the Sun Conference with 291 runs scored and 34th in the NAIA with a team ERA of 2.74.
- Rylie Harwood enters the postseason as the team-leader in batting average at .397 and tied with both Samantha Suarez and Mackenzie Mathers with a team-leading 31 RBI's. Mathers, Sydney Rich and Garcia are all tied with a team-leading four home runs while in the circle. Dani Ebert, Yazetti, is the team leader in ERA at 2.20 and wins with 12.
