SARASOTA, Fla. - NCF Softball (23-12, 8-7) will host Florida Memorial (0-20, 0-12) for a weekend series that will include the Mighty Banyans Senior Day Ceremony scheduled for Saturday at 12:30 p.m. EST.
The Mighty Banyans and Lions will play a single game on Friday at 3 p.m. and then Saturday will play a doubleheader with games at 1 and 3 p.m.

OF NOTE
- NCF will honor five seniors during Saturday's ceremony: Rylie Harwood, Arianna Thomason, Madison Garcia, Samantha Suarez and Cheyenne Waddell.
- The Mighty Banyans took two out of three from No. 9 Keiser last weekend in West Palm Beach,I winning Game 1 2-1 to break the Seahawks 23-game winning streak and Game 2 5-4.
- In Game 1, New College broke through in the third inning. Thomason was hit by a pitch and later scored on a sacrifice fly from Suarez to give the  Banyans a 1-0 lead. Keiser answered in the bottom half of the inning to tie the game at 1-1, but NCF regained the lead in the top of the sixth. Karyna Lewis reached and later came around to score on an RBI single from Harwood, putting New College back in front 2-1. Meanwhile, freshman Dani Ebert was outstanding in the circle, tossing a complete game and allowing just one run on three hits while striking out two to earn the win.
- In Game 2, the Mighty Banyans broke through in the top of the fourth inning. Mackenzie Mathers singled to score  Lewis before Kelsey Harper followed with an RBI single to push the lead to 2-0. New College added to the advantage in the fifth as Mathers delivered another RBI single, and Tori Goodell followed with a two-run single to extend the lead to 5-0. Keiser mounted a late rally in the top of the seventh. Faith Campos brought in a run on a sacrifice, Genesis Iglesias added a two-run double, and Macy Schaaf followed with an RBI triple to cut the deficit to 5-4. With two outs,  Schaaf attempted to steal home, but Ebert was able to fire home to the catcher Goddel to record the series-clinching out. Mathers led the offense with two hits and two RBIs, while Goodell drove in two runs. Harper also added an RBI, and Lewis finished with two hits. Kendall Rubel earned the win, allowing three runs over 6.1 innings. Ebert entered in the seventh and recorded the final two outs, including catching the would-be tying run stealing to secure the save.
