SARASOTA, Fla. - New College of Florida Women's Soccer (0-2, 0-0) will look to earn its first win of the 2025 season Friday when it hosts Sun Conference foe Florida Memorial to the new NCF Bayfront Field for a 4 p.m. showdown.
The contest will not be counted towards either team's Sun Conference record. NCF and Florida Memorial will meet again Oct. 22 in Miami Gardens in what will be considered a conference matchup.

- NCF is 0-2 on the season after losing each of its games at last weekend's Thomas Tournament at Thomas University in Thomasville, Georgia. It fell 3-1 to Thomas Friday, Aug. 30, and 5-0 to Mobile on Sept. 1.
- The Banyans are still searching for its first goal scorer of the season. Its goal against Thomas came via an own goal.
- NCF attempted five shots on goal in the two losses in Thomasville. The shots were attempted by Eva Bollhalder, Jessie Dreiling, Annika Maringer, Brooke Laschke and Consuelo Di Maria.
- Freshman goaltender Avaya Wright started both games in Thomasville and made five saves while allowing six goals.
- Senior goaltender Beatryz Bueno Duarte moved into net in the second half of NCF's loss to Mobile and made one save while allowing two goals.
- Florida Memorial is 1-0 so far this season. It beat Ave Maria 1-0 on Aug. 23 thanks to a goal from Julia Duarte and two saves from goaltender Isabella Rueda. Marc Lue Young is in his fourth season as head coach at FMU.
- He owns a 13-28-5 record leading the program, and last season led the Lions to an 8-7-2 mark.
