BRADENTON, Fla. - NCF Baseball (5-3, 0-0) will look to earn its second series victory of the season over the weekend when it welcomes Briar Cliff (1-3, 0-0) to IMG Academy for a four-game set beginning Thursday.
The Mighty Banyans and Chargers will play single games Thursday (IMG Field 3) and Friday (IMG Field 5) and a doubleheader Saturday (IMG Field 5).

- NCF split a four-game home weekend set with Fort Lauderdale last weekend, splitting a pair of doubleheaders. The weekend moves the Mighty Banyans to 5-3 on the year after it opened the season by taking three out of four from Saint Xavier.
- Starting pitchers Ryan Swartz and Owen McKinley both moved to 2-0 on the season with wins against the Eagles as Swartz tossed 4.0 innings of two-run ball, striking out seven Eagles in a 7-3 Game 3 victory, while McKinley tossed 6.0 innings of one-run ball, striking out eight in NCF's 10-2 Game 2 victory.
