BRADENTON, Fla. - NCF Baseball (8-4, 0-0) will be back at IMG Academy to host Bethel University for a four-game weekend series.
The Mighty Banyans and Pilots will play a pair of doubleheaders, with starting at Noon EST Saturday and 1 p.m. Sunday.

- NCF is coming off a series win over Briar Cliff as the Mighty Banyans took three out of four games from the Chargers. After losing Game 1 5-3, NCF bounced back to win Game 2 3-1 and then swept a Saturday doubleheader, winning 5-4 in walk-off fashion and 13-5.
- Saturday's doubleheader (two seven-inning games) sweep of Briar Cliff saw the Mighty Banyans rally in the opener as the Chargers took a 3-1 lead into the bottom of the seventh. With one out, Miguel Pena delivered a pinch-hit single, which was followed by a walk from Brecken Fair and an RBI single from Matthew Merk to cut the lead to 3-2. The next batter, Patrick Fink, would sky a walk-off double over the head of center fielder Damon Schmid to give the Mighty Banyans a come-from-behind victory. Then in the finale, NCF rallied for four in both the bottom of the fifth and sixth, as in the bottom of the fifth, catcher Matt Grau delivered a go-ahead two-run single and Andrew Merchant ripped a two-run triple.
In the sixth, Merk hit an RBI single, Fernando Espinal scored on a passed ball, while a sac-fly from Gregory not only plated one run but saw Espinal hustle from second all the way around to score and pad the lead at 13-5
- At 8-4, the Mighty Banyans are off to its best start in program history.
- The weekend series will serve as Bethel's season opener.
