BRADENTON, Fla. - NCF Baseball (3-1, 0-0) will look to carry the momentum built from a strong opening weekend series win over Saint Xavier into a pair of weekend doubleheaders with non-conference foe Fort Lauderdale.
NCF will welcome Fort Lauderdale to IMG Academy for doubleheaders on Saturday and Sunday with games starting at 12 p.m. and 3 p.m. EST on both days.

- NCF took three out of four games from a Saint Xavier team that reached last season's NAIA Tournament in its opening series last weekend. After falling in Game 1 11-10, NCF won Game 2 7-0, Game 3 11-0 and Game 4 3-2.
- Ryan Swartz tossed a 7.0 inning complete-game shutout in NCF's Game 2 victory, punching out nine Cougars, allowing just three hits and one walk. The performance earned him both Sun Conference and NAIA Pitcher Of The Week honors.
- Catcher Matthew Merk was NCF's leading hitter in the opening weekend series as he hit .545 with a double and triple while recording four RBIs.
- Fort Lauderdale comes to town 2-1 on the season haivng taken a three-game series from Savanah State last weekend.
