SARASOTA, Fla. - Following a stellar final week of his career as a Mighty Banyan, NCF Men's Basketball senior point guard Shawn Lefresne has been named the Sun Conference Offensive Player of The Week.

He opened the week by scoring 18 points, dishing six assists, and grabbing eight rebounds at home against Warner, and then on his Senior Day and in NCF's season finale, made history.

The Port Charlotte product  set a school single-game record with 47 points as he shot 19-for-30 from the field and 7-for-11 from the stripe. He added a team-high seven rebounds and dished out two assists.

Lefresne finished the season second on the team in scoring at 14.7 points per game while leading the Banyans in assists (5.7) and rebounds (5.2) per game.

He finishes his NCF career as the program's all-time leader in assists.

He became NCF's second weekly award winner of the season, joining sophomore guard Diego Eslava, who earned Offensive Player Of The Week honors in December.
